Sun is a retractable set of functions from Render's light panel.

Interface 0.99.5a render light-sun

Show sun disc

When on, this button displays the origin of the environmental source light as a virtual sun disc, which reflects in metal materials.

Pitch angle of sun light

Angle in the sky between the sun disc's center and the horizon, range from -90 to 90 degrees. Can be changed by manually entering a number or using the slider right next to the number.

Yaw angle of sun light

Horizontal angular measurement between the sun disc's center and the -Y axis, range from 0 to 360 degrees, counterclockwise from top view. Can be changed by manually entering a number or using the slider right next to the number.

Sun area

Size of the virtual sun disc in the sky, range from 0 to 100, unitless. Can be changed using the related slider.

Lower sun area to improve shadows sharpness, increase to blur shadows.

Sun intensity

Strength of the sun's source light, range from 0 to 100200[1], unitless. Can be changed using the related slider.

Sun color

Color of the sun's source light. Can be changed using the color box.
